VINYASA YOGA
The literal translation of vinyasa from Sanskrit is “connection” so in this type of yoga each movement is synchronized to a breath, the breath is acting as an anchor as you move from one pose to the next.
Expect to move, sometimes vigorously and alignment oriented, every sequence unique including advanced poses.
BENEFITS:
Reenergized: Yoga sequences are designed to help you ease tension by putting your spine through its full range of motion, the poses not only stretch muscles and alleviate stiffness, and they also boost your energy levels by increasing blood flow to the large muscles, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and energized
Strength building: When you do yoga poses, you are putting your body in positions and orientations that you ultimately have to support with your muscles. So sometimes is like if you are lifting weights this will lead to improve balance, flexibility, range of motion and strength, you will feel greater endurance and cardiorespiratory fitness
Stress Relief: Through yoga, you cleanse your body and mind systematically, removing the build-up of tension (samskaras). Inner happiness results from this, as well as healing and ongoing health, giving you a healthy body and a positive mind. A number of studies have shown that yoga may help reduce stress and anxiety. It can also enhance your mood and overall sense of well-being
Mind and soul: Yoga can boost your body’s production of two hormones essential to cultivating happiness, health, and feelings of calmness. Oxytocin, that can make you feel closer to your loved ones, decrease your stress, and improve your overall wellness. Endorphins that play an important role managing physical pain and negative emotions.
